What's New in 2024 Release 1?
Overview
In our latest release, we've focused on making ERX products compatible with Salesforce’s new offering, Education Cloud and the use of Person Accounts, which combine account and contact information into a single record.
Note
Education Cloud is not required for installing or upgrading to 2024 Release 1. Additionally, most of the related release documentation is only necessary for those using the Education Cloud data model and/or enabling Person Accounts.
There are some required post-installation steps for all users, e.g., in ERX Core. Required instructions are labeled in their respective user guides.
Product Highlights
DXP
All three DXP extension products have been upgraded in 2024 Release 1:
- FormBuilder Rx (Shopping Cart, Widget Builder DXP, and Page Builder)
- Events Rx (Appointment Manager)
- Reader Rx (Application Review Steps, Configure Columns, Pending Applications, and more)
ERX Core
- A new setting has been added to the Admin Panel that allows you to toggle between the Person Account and Contact models
- Compatibility with standard Education Cloud objects, including the Individual Application, Person Account checklist items, etc.
Events Rx
- Create and match Person Accounts with Event and Visit registration forms
- Select between the Person Account Model and Contact Model in the Custom Settings
FormBuilder Rx
- Compatibility with Person Accounts and the use of forms, including Portal/Community Registration forms and Event/Visit Registration forms
- Check or uncheck the Person Account Model in the Custom Settings
- Compatibility with standard Education Cloud objects (e.g., Individual Application)
Import Rx
- Toggle between the Person Account and Contact models in the Custom Settings
- Use Person Account as a target object
