What Action Do I Need to Take?

If you are upgrading from an earlier version:

  • Several new fields have been added to the following objects, so, Immediately after installation, you must update the Public Access Settings of your Event Listing site.
    • Give “Read” access to all fields on these objects:
      • Campaign
      • Visit Series
      • Exception
    • Give both “Read” and “Edit” access to all fields on this object:
      • CampaignMember
  • Create one or more Organization Wide Email Address in order to use the new “Sender Email” field on the Campaign object to choose any Organization Wide Email Address as the “From:” address from which the event Registration and Waitlist confirmation emails are sent.
    • To show the new field in the Campaign Detail view, put the new “Sender Email” field onto the Campus Campaign page layout, in the “Emails” section.
    • To show the new field in the Campaign Edit view, put the new “Sender Email” field into the Campaign fieldset called CampusCampaignEmailsSectionFieldSet (note: it won’t appear unless you have defined an Organization Wide Email Address).

NEW FEATURES

  • Show default values of fields on Event and Visit registration pages
  • Allow registration on the day of an Event or Visit
  • Private and Unlisted Visit Series
  • Registration Success Page Redirect
  • Rich text Registration Page Description field added to Visit Series registration page
  • Configurable “From:” address for Event Registration emails
  • Branding of template for both Event Listing and Visit Registration pages can be controlled by the new “brand” parameter

Minor Changes

  • Grant View All access to the ERx Event Parent Section object
  • Several new fields have been added to the following objects, so, Immediately after installation, you must update the Public Access Settings of your Event Listing site, granting “Read” access to all fields on these objects:
    • ERx Event Parent Section
    • Event Registration Section
    • Visit
