Homepage Builder

Overview

The Homepage Builder allows the Admin to build multiple home page layouts, each with rendering conditions, so that the layout can change dynamically as the community user’s data changes.

Layouts are comprised of one to sixteen widget numbers, sized and positioned on the page between the header and footer of the template.

Each widget number may have multiple widget contents, each widget content having its own rendering criteria, so that widget content, like the layout, can be dynamic, changing as the user’s data changes.

Widget Contents Only Render with Selected Layouts

Each widget is either associated or not associated with each layout. Widgets will render only on those layouts with which they are associated. This reduces the time it takes to render the homepage, because only the widgets associated with the currently rendering layout are queried to determine whether or not they should render.
