Installing Import Rx

Installation

In the Release Notes section of the guide, you'll find URLs for installing or upgrading Import Rx — one for your sandbox org and one for your production org. They look something like this:

Sandbox Sample URL	`https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=...`
Production Sample URL	`https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=...`

You start the installation process by either clicking the URL or pasting it into your browser’s address bar. If you are already logged in to the target org, the Install/Upgrade screen will appear immediately; if not, it will appear after you log in.

Choose “Install for All Users” before clicking the Install or Upgrade button, like this:

Tip:

If you are logged out of all Salesforce orgs, you will be asked to log in to the org into which you wish to install the application.
If you work in more than one Salesforce org, be sure you are logged out of all orgs before using the installation URL, since it will install into any org into which you are currently logged in. Logging out beforehand ensures you are installing into the correct org.
