2026 Release 2

Overview

2026 Release 2 introduces new FormBuilder Rx tools for protecting public-facing forms and analyzing FormBuilder configurations, along with enhancements to security, troubleshooting, installation remediation, and the FormBuilder Rx administration experience. DXP includes an update to Shopping Cart processing for products containing large amounts of description content.

FormBuilder Rx

FormGuard

• Protection Against Suspicious and Automated Activity: FormGuard helps protect public and community-facing FormBuilder Rx forms by evaluating network, browser, device, interaction, and submission activity.
• Configurable Protection Actions: Administrators can configure FormGuard to allow normal activity, present a reCAPTCHA challenge when additional verification is appropriate, or block activity that meets the configured risk criteria.
• Network Risk Configuration: Administrators can configure suspicious countries and IP ranges and define Trusted IP Exceptions for approved networks.
• FormGuard Activity Monitoring: Live Guard Activity provides information about challenged and blocked requests, including the recorded score, action, IP address, country, and other incident details.

FormAnalyzer

• Environment Analyzer: Provides an overall health summary of a FormBuilder Rx environment, including environment health, page and section information, field usage, and identified issues, warnings, and recommendations.
• Page Analyzer: Provides detailed analysis of individual FormBuilder Rx pages, including page health, settings, field references, dataset usage, section usage, and analysis results.
• Configuration Visibility: Search, CSV download, detailed field-reference information, and other analysis tools help administrators review increasingly complex FormBuilder Rx configurations.

Security and Troubleshooting

• Guest and Experience Cloud Access with Allow Object Access: FormBuilder Rx now uses Allow Object Access (AOA) to provide the required object access for guest and Experience Cloud users, allowing administrators to grant access based on the data required for each public or community use case.
• Improved Permission Error Logging: Permission-related errors encountered by guest and Experience Cloud users are now captured in the Portal Package Logger, giving administrators additional diagnostic information for identifying and resolving missing permissions.
• Installation Remediation: If an installation or upgrade cannot complete because of an unexpected post-install condition, administrators can use a controlled remediation process to complete the installation and then run and validate post-install processing manually.

Administration Interface Improvements

• Updated FormBuilder Rx Administration Experience: The FormBuilder Rx administration interface has been refreshed to provide a cleaner, more consistent, and easier-to-use experience.
• Navigation and Action Updates: Environment Builder now uses vertical navigation, several administration areas include updated action-button placement, and administration tabs have been renamed or added to provide clearer access to configuration tools.
• New FormGuard and FormAnalyzer Tabs: FormGuard and FormAnalyzer are now available as dedicated tabs within the FormBuilder Rx administration experience.

DXP

Shopping Cart - Cookie Storage Optimization

• Improved Add to Cart Handling: Shopping Cart processing has been updated to correctly handle products containing large amounts of content in Text Area and Rich Text description fields. Large product descriptions no longer prevent products from being added to the cart.
