Upgrading to the Latest Version of FormBuilder Rx

If you are upgrading to the newest release of FormBuilder Rx, use the package installation links below and be sure to follow any pre- or post-installation steps. If you're installing FormBuilder Rx for the first time, visit Introduction & Setup for general instructions.

CAUTION:
Always install and test new versions of FormBuilder Rx in a sandbox before upgrading your production environment.

Version 8.4.3 Release Summary

Issue: Package upgrade failure due to a post-installation error in orgs with large number of SObjects (1,000+).

Resolution: If you encountered this error during upgrade, please follow the steps below to successfully complete the installation.

Resolution Steps

  1. Navigate to Setup > Custom Settings > FormBuilder Settings > Admin Settings.
  2. Re-initiate the package upgrade to 2025 Release 2 Version 8.4.3.
  3. Await the installation success email confirmation from Salesforce.
  4. Once confirmed, return to Setup > Custom Settings > FormBuilder Settings > Admin Settings and uncheck the Debugging setting.
    Important:
    Do not skip Step 4 — leaving Debugging enabled after installation may impact org performance.

Post-Installation Steps for Users Upgrading from 2024 to 2025

Important:
The following prerequisites must be completed by users upgrading from 2024 versions of FormBuilder Rx. You can skip these steps if you're upgrading from FormBuilder 2025 Release 1, version 7.1.14.

Configuration Steps

  1. Provide the following permissions for the EventListing Site Profile:
    1. Custom Setting: Enrollment Rx: Events Rx.ERx_Events.Events Rx

    2. Custom Metadata: Enrollment Rx: Events Rx.ERx_Events.Time Zone And Abbreviation

  2. Also add the Erx_FB_Sites Permission Set to the DXP Community Site Guest User.
