Upgrading Import Rx
If you are upgrading to the newest release of Import Rx, use the package installation links below.
Important Pre-Upgrade Instructions
Prior to initiating the Import Rx managed package upgrade, verify that there are no
active Import Rx BatchImportProcess batch jobs or scheduled
ScheduleBatchImportProcess jobs running in the org. Any in-progress
Import Rx jobs must be completed or stopped before proceeding with the upgrade to
avoid potential conflicts or data inconsistencies.
Recommended Best Practice
- If
ScheduleBatchImportProcessjobs are scheduled to run during the upgrade → Pause All Jobs.
- If a
BatchImportProcessjob is currently running → Abort it from Apex Jobs. To stop a running Apex batch job:-
Go to Setup → Jobs → Apex Jobs.
-
Review the Status column:
-
Processing → Currently running → You will see an Abort button next to the job.
-
Queued → Waiting to run → No Abort button.
-
Holding → Waiting → No Abort button.
-
-
Click Abort for any jobs with a Processing status, or wait for them to complete.
-
If no jobs are in Processing status, there is nothing to abort. Queued jobs will not start if schedules are stopped prior to the upgrade.
-
- After the upgrade is successful → Resume All Jobs.
