Creating an Application Review Step

Overview

To create an Application Review Step, go to the Application Review Steps tab and click the “New Application Review step” button.

The Summary Step

You must create a step called “Summary” as the first step. This step is a container for Summary Sections, which you will define, below.

Leave both the “Object” and the “Where Clause Field” blank for this step. Select the Application Feedback Record Types for which you would like this step to display. All the fields are described in Object Information Section Fields on the Other Objects' Steps page.

Note:
In the “Application Feedback Record Types” field, you should make sure that all of your Application Feedback Record Types are listed, and if any are missing, you should add them to this picklist under Setup > Object Manager > OnlineReadingSystem > Fields and Relationships > Feedback Record Types (API name: ERx_ReaderRx__Feedback_Record_Types__c)

Note:
To include Review Steps in PDFs downloaded via the “Generate PDF” button on the Application Detail Page and List View, you should include “Default” when you populate the field “Application Feedback Record Types”. Only the Review Steps and Summary Sections associated with the “Default” record type will be included in these PDFs.

The Contact Step

Create a step for the Contact object. This step can be named anything you like. Set “Looks up to” to “Application”, and “Object” to “Contact” like this:

Note:
The "Where Clause" field will autopopulate with the field on the selected object, in this case "Id".


The Application Step

Create a step for the Application object. Set “Looks up to” to “Application”, and “Object” to “Application":

Note:
As in the Contact Step above, the "Where Clause" field will autopopulate accordingly.
