Editing Recurring Events

Overview

Both the Parent and Child Campaigns can be edited. To edit a campaign click on the ‘Edit’ button on the Campaign Detail page.

Editing the Parent Campaign

For a recurring campaign, a Parent campaign’s Start Date and End Date can be edited provided that no users are registered for that event. When the start or end date is edited in the parent campaign, all future child campaigns will be deleted (excluding those for which users have registered) and the recurrence settings on the parent campaign will be wiped out. You can then re-configure the parent campaign as a recurring campaign.

Editing Child Campaigns

Similar to the Parent Campaign, a Child Campaign’s Start Date and End Date can be edited if no users are registered for that event. When the dates are edited in a Child Campaign a confirmation message appears.

1. If you select ‘Yes’ then all future events will be deleted and the child campaign’s parent will be removed. At this point the child campaign can have its own recurrence.
2. If you select ‘No’ then all future events will be not be deleted and the child campaign’s parent will be removed. At this point the child campaign can have its own recurrence.
