Payment Configuration

You may display a payment button, rather than the usual “Submit Registration” button on the event or visit registration form. You may also choose the label for this button. When the registrant clicks the payment button, the CampaignMember record will be created or updated and the registrant will then be redirected to whatever URL is in a formula field on the CampaignMember of your choice and design. This will enable you to build a formula that will calculate an amount to be paid and embed that amount, together with other data, into a URL linked to the payment gateway of your choice.

You will want to consult your payment gateway vendor’s API documentation to determine how your URL formula field should be constructed.

Note:
This feature provides a one-way (outbound only) payment integration. Currently, there is no pre-built capability for receiving back a confirmation from your payment gateway vendor.
To configure Payment Configuration, click “Payment & Redirect Configuration” in the lower left.

Then choose any text or formula field from the CampaignMember object (in the case of Events) or the Visit Series object (in the case of Visits), and type in the label for the button that will redirect the registrant to the URL in that field:

By choosing “Redirect on Submit” rather than “Payment” in the above dialog, you can set a URL to which the user should be redirected upon successful registration, as well as the number of seconds for which to display the success message before redirection:
