Overview

FormBuilder Rx 2026 Release 2 strengthens security for guest and Experience Cloud users, adds administrator diagnostics, modernizes the administration experience, improves transaction logging, and introduces a controlled installation-remediation process.

This release also introduces FormGuard and FormAnalyzer, two new administration tools designed to help protect public-facing forms and provide greater visibility into FormBuilder Rx environment and page configurations.

Release Highlights

FormGuard

FormGuard is a new built-in protection layer for public-facing FormBuilder Rx forms. It evaluates network, browser, device, interaction, and submission activity and uses configurable rules and risk scores to allow activity, present a reCAPTCHA challenge, or block suspicious requests.

Live Guard Activity gives administrators additional visibility into challenged and blocked requests so they can review incidents and refine protection settings.

FormAnalyzer

FormAnalyzer helps administrators assess the health and complexity of FormBuilder Rx environments and individual pages. Environment Analyzer provides environment-wide configuration and usage information, while Page Analyzer provides detailed information about page settings, fields, datasets, sections, and identified issues, warnings, and recommendations.

Guest and Experience Cloud Access with Allow Object Access (AOA)

FormBuilder Rx now uses Allow Object Access (AOA) to provide required object access for guest and Experience Cloud users. This approach allows administrators to grant access based on the data required for each public or community use case rather than relying on broader sharing-rule access.

Administration Experience Updates

The FormBuilder Rx administration interface has been updated to provide a cleaner and more consistent experience. Changes include vertical navigation in Environment Builder, updated action-button placement, renamed administration tabs, and new FormGuard and FormAnalyzer tabs.

Enhanced Error Handling

Permission-related errors encountered by guest and Experience Cloud users are now recorded in the Portal Package Logger. This provides administrators with additional diagnostic information when troubleshooting missing object, field, profile, or other required permissions.

Installation Remediation

A new installation remediation process provides an alternate path when an installation or upgrade cannot complete because of an unexpected post-install condition. Administrators can temporarily skip automatic post-install execution, complete the package installation, and then run and validate the post-install process manually.
