Required Permissions for the Page Preview Button

Overview

If your Force.com site permissions are configured correctly, the Page Preview button (final step of the Onboarding Wizard) will launch a front-end view of the site page:

If instead you see an error on the page (e.g., "Authorization Required"), it means that some additional permissions need to be configured on the back end.

Permissions

Following are the required permissions to preview a Force.com Site page using the Page Preview button. Permission Type Page Preview Requirement
Site Guest User Profile Enabled Visualforce Page Access: ERx_Forms.PageMaker
Site Guest User Profile Enabled Apex Class Access: ERxFB_CreateDataSetStepController and ERxFB_SelectBrandingStep
Site Guest User Permission Sets Assignments: ERxEvent_SiteGuest (if using FormBuilder Rx with Events Rx) and ERxFB_Sites
Sharing Rules Objects:
  • Account
  • Env
  • SiteLoginTemplate
Allow Object Access Object Permissions (View All, Create, Modify All and Delete):
  • Account
  • Contact
  • Lead
Field Permissions:
  • Read/Edit Access for fields related to the above objects
