Widget Accessibility

Make your Widget Content ADA Compliant with ARIA

The Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite, (ARIA) is a set of attributes that make Web content and Web applications more accessible to people with disabilities. It especially helps with dynamic content and user interface controls developed with HTML and JavaScript.

FormBuilder’s built-in templates, Widget Library and Page Builder pages include ARIA attributes so that they work with the popular Screen Reading software Voice Over, which is built into the Mac OS, and Window programs Job Access with Speech (JAWS), and NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA).

Wherever you enter your own HTML into FormBuilder, such as in Widgets and (sometimes) paragraphs on Page Builder pages, you must include ARIA attributes to enable screen readers.
