Enabling the Standard Middle Name Setting

Overview

As part of leveraging the newest Salesforce APIs in our technology, the standard Middle Name field must be enabled. If you’re on an older Salesforce org, you may need to go into your settings and manually enable it. Here's how:

Steps

1. Go to Setup, and search for “User Interface” in the Quick Find box.
2. Click on it when it appears in the left column.
3. On the User Interface page, scroll down to the Name Settings section and check the “Enable Middle Names for Person Names” checkbox (if it’s not already).
4. Click Save.
