Picklists

Picklists have some controls unique to them:

Default to --None-- : if set to “True” then when the field is not yet populated, the user will see “--None--” as selected in the picklist
“Default Value” : If you put a value here, it will be used instead of “--None--”, above
“Available Values” : Allows you to specify which of the picklist values should be shown to the user

Note:

If you select picklist values and then change the API name of one of the selected values you this will break the picklist. To fix it you must remove it from the page, save the page, then put it back on the page. You do not need to remove it from the dataset.
