Text Fields
Fields of datatype “Text” respect the length parameter of the field as configured in Salesforce. As the end user types text into such a field, then cannot exceed the length specified in the Salesforce configuration for the field. For example, a text field of length 25 renders like this:
Once 25 characters have been entered, the user cannot enter more.
