Important Change to Page Layouts in Salesforce Winter '26

Issue

As of the Salesforce Winter '26 release, the Quick Access Panel included in a Classic page layout will no longer render properly in both Classic and Lightning. If you're using the Quick Access Panel in a Classic page layout within Lightning Experience, you may see errors like the following:

• Quick Links fail to load properly when navigating between related links.
• The Application Checklist tab displays scrambled data and improper HTML loading.
• Checklist Items sometimes display correctly and sometimes do not, causing confusion.

Solution

To resolve this issue, the Lightning Web Component named ERX Checklist Requirement Quick Access Panel should be added to the Lighting page layout for the Application record and the Quick Access Panel Visualforce frame removed from the Classic page layout.

To remove the Quick Access Panel from the Classic page layout and to add the Lightning Web Component named ERX Checklist Requirement Quick Access Panel to the Application Lightning page layout, please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to any Application’s detail page in Lightning.
2. Click the gear icon (the Salesforce Setup menu) in the upper right corner and choose Edit Page. This will open the Lightning App Builder.
3. If you already have the Visualforce component on your page layout, you will see it nested within the Details tab like this:
   
   
4. To remove the Visualforce component: In the right column in Lightning App Builder (above), click the name of the layout to open the Classic page layout editor where you can remove the Visualforce component from the Details section like this:
   
   
   1. If you have a page section that is now empty because you deleted the Visualforce component, then delete that page section, too.
   2. Click Save and close the window, which will take you back to Lightning App Builder.
   3. In Lightning App Builder, click Refresh (if needed) to see your change to the Details tab, with the Visualforce component removed.
5. Next, from the left column, drag the new Lightning Component called ERx Checklist Requirement Quick Access Panel (EnrollmentrxRx) and position it above the Details tab like this:

6. Save the layout and click the Back (arrow) button in the upper left corner of Lightning App Builder to return to the Application Detail View:
